Personal information and email policy

Ludington House only sends email with your consent. At the time of booking and at the time of check-in you will be asked if you wish to be on our mailing list. When we send out a bulk email there will always be an option to be taken off the subscription list.

We retain email and zip code for marketing purposes and phone numbers so we can contact guests prior to and during the stay should there be a need. Our booking software does have blanks for physical address information that are optional.  If you wish your personal information to “be forgotten” we can easily delete this from our system. Please call us at 231.845.7769, or email info@ludingtonhouse.com.

ADA compliance: website

Here at the Ludington House Bed & Breakfast, we want everyone who visits not only our inn, but our website, to feel welcome and find the experience a warm one. We strive to make our website accessible to persons of all abilities and maintain due diligence with ADA standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines put forth by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What are we doing?

We continue to update our website. We search for non-ADA compliant elements and work to bring them into compliance.

While the industry is not yet operating from approved, regulated legislation, Ludington House Bed and Breakfast is committed to our good faith effort to follow the guidelines available. If you have questions, concerns or have discovered an accessibility issue on our site, please contact us by calling 231.845.7769, or emailing info@ludingtonhouse.com. Be sure to include specifics and any page where an issue has occurred. We will make every reasonable effort to make the page accessible for you.

This accessibility statement only covers our website. You may find outbound links to other sites. Accessibility on those sites is the responsibility of the site owners and are not managed or controlled by www.ludingtonhouse.com.

About our inn’s accessibility

The inn is built in the late 1800s to the standards of the time. There are three steps at the entrance as well as full flights of stairs to the guest rooms on the second and third floor. We have safety standards in place such as 2 forms of egress on the second and third floors, fire extinguishers, smoke and CO detectors, emergency lights and emergency evacuation maps in each room. However we have no elevator nor rooms available on the ground level. If climbing stairs is a difficulty we can recommend a stay at one of our neighboring inns that do have ground level rooms.
